I'm trying to remember this one PBS show with a little boy puppet who was joined by either one or two (live) female hosts. I think it took place in a library and there seemed to be live children part of the cast. To my knowledge, I think there would be some guest (perhaps a celebrity) who would join in to make an appearance. I'm not quite sure what they would do, other than tell a story accompanied with illustrations (sort of like on "READING RAINBOW"). There were only a few times I've seen this particular program; it usually aired before either "MISTER ROGERS" or else "SHINING TIME STATION" (at least on my local PBS affiliate). Any help identifying this show would be greatly appreciated!

I should also point out that this show premiered around the same time as "THE PUZZLE PLACE" (another PBS show which had featured a full puppet cast), and I believe this show I'm trying to recall may have quite possibly been produced by the same people who made "THE PUZZLE PLACE".

Here's a list of PBS kids' shows on wiki. Maybe if you peruse the list, it will jog your memory and you'll find the correct title.

Topbilled -
I GOT IT! The show is titled "KINO'S STORYTIME", or else just "STORYTIME". I remember now that the puppet boy on the show was named Kino. Apparently, this show was produced at the Los Angeles public television station KCET, which actually produced the above-mentioned "PUZZLE PLACE". The latter I recalled very distinctly, but I had only vaguely remembered "STORYTIME". Makes me wonder if there was ever any crossover appearances of both shows. It's amazing how many celebrities guest starred on this program.
