I may be a big toothless pumpkin baby but I am generally not superstitious. However....
Having trouble reaching my bestie the other day....
I stepped outside to trees FULL of John Prines where I usually just have deux. eeeps.
It all ended well with just me looking ridiculous. As per usual.
A bit scary Nelly Furtado has not filed any litigation on this one.

Oh no! Truly getting spooky ILM: first Leonard Cohen and now MM. I was going to post the Molar Manor version. It is so utterly charming. Every artist wrestles with what to do about their big hits. Alvin Lee changing drastically after I'm Going Home. Sloan refusing to play Underwhelmed. On and on. Bobby Boris handles it so beautifully.
This one is not for the faint of heart: perhaps THE most frightening video I have ever seen. I was forced to locate it in my own basement. All the googling about Alice, dolls, rabbits, stretching legs and Tool brought up nothing.

On the subject of rabbits...I think Kenneth Anger must have filmed this in his basement. He filmed it in 1950 but it didn't see the light of day until 1971, then later in this shortened form in 1979 with a new soundtrack. "It looked like an archimandrite." OK. I guess. |
