One might question whether Betty Garde was a "movie star," but she was an important actress who gave memorable performances in numerous films. She may be best remembered as Kitty Stark in Caged (1950), in which she stabs Hope Emerson with a fork. In musical theater, she originated the role of Aunt Eller, in the premiere production of Oklahoma! on Broadway.
Garde appeared on television often. Her two guest performances that I find to be most memorable are the role of Thelma the Maid in my favorite episode of The Honeymooners ("A Woman's Work Is Never Done."); and the role of Mrs. Bronson in an eerily timely (for today) episode of The Twilight Zone ("The Midnight Sun.").

For kims and mr6667... The BATMAN set was a late hour visit for both Tallulah Bankhead ...and Francis X. Bushman who's said to have made his last appearance in front of the camera, a thirty-eight-year reunion for him with his "The GRIP of the YUKON" co-star, Neil Hamilton - another silent sendup, mr6667:
