We did land a man on a moon, but it took almost a decade a planning and an army of brainiacs to execute. This plan is more complicated and she's doing it on the fly and all by herself.

The tin toy dog gets his own "scene." How funny. He's a method actor.

This chase scene doesn't really make much sense. Killing Myra only works for Lester if he doesn't get caught. Stalking her in a car all over San Fran is insane. Also, where is everyone else in this city? I know it's night, but cities don't get this empty.

I enjoyed it, but it walked the edge of camp. Fun still, but not Crawford's best. Nice, though, to see her playing a role that aligned to her real age.

There's a lot to unpack in a film like this.
What is it saying about women past a certain age? And the men who "love" them.

It was exciting, but frustrating. Nice ending though!

My copy of "Daisy Kenton" arrived this week and I moved it to the top of my reading queue (several of my other books aren't talking to me now), so I should be starting it in a week or so when I finish my current book "Wickford Point," which was written by John P. Marquand, who also wrote "B.F.'s Daughter."
