Laughing, Fading Fast!! We three enable each other: I think, well, I will show some restraint and not post this about Norma Shearer but, then I think, no, christine and Fading Fast just posted on their faves, so it's OK. I have more like a top five, but I understand the sentiment. I will say, I have never seen the enthusiasm that Christine has for Dino - I love her passion for him. Yes, Fading Fast, christine loves her Dino. Would be interested in reading of the five, Fading Fast, if care to ever share...

Well all I can say is - - - - hope this works - being real adventurous with my technology skills (which are behind everyone else) If it's not working for you - Dean's suppose to be winking - so just pretend he is! LOL 😁

I don't know if that would be possible jamesjazzguitar - Norma and Dean were from different times of the classic era.
I do know one thing they have in common though! Janet Leigh! Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh were neighbors of Dean and Jeanne's. Tony would come over to Dean's house to play cards. The two couples were friends. Dean and Janet made two films together - LIVING IT UP 1954 and WHO WAS THAT LADY 1960. The latter starred Dean, Janet and Tony! Of course we know who discovered Janet Leigh - that's right - the lovely Norma Shearer discovered Janet when she was 18 years old!
That of course is what Norma and Dean have in common!!!

Since I just tossed out the number five a touch haphazardly, I think I'll slow roll my way there with my second top five being blonde, English, aloof Ann Todd.
Note the (what I assume is) embroidery, BunnyWhit.

Didn't see this one coming, Fading Fast. You really switched boats here: from Ella Raines to Ann Todd!!

Superb! Ann Todd has a quiet air of elegance to her. I'm interested to see who your other 3 are Fading Fast.

Love the pic of Ms. Todd in a beret, thank you, Christine.
The third one in the five - there is no order to this list - is the serene Ms. Ann Harding.

They're getting fairer as you go along, Fading Fast.

Joan Crawford was stylin' cloche culture ethos last night: I could've done without the mean-spirited drop previous to the above scene where a flapper attracts William Haines' narcissistic character with a Charleston cliche only to be demonstrably dismissed for her lack of looks. Sexist ugliness.

So I went searching for more beret pictures - but instead found this one. I was so taken by Ann Harding's beauty that I had to post this for Fading Fast.
She's so gorgeous in this photo!
Here's Ann in a 'somewhat' beret with Robert Montgomery.
