Reference to PICTURE SNATCHER...a bit of WB cross promotion!
***
If this was made now, we'd have dialogue between her and the detective, wondering if Thorne was a homosexual, since he's rejected her advances.

Is he not seeing through all this campfire malarkey?
Even with her one-eye-peak-a-boo hat she has a great sightline on him.

I am surprised the studio didn't remake this with Bette Davis and Errol Flynn.

I like to think he is a great actor and smart like a fox.
What were matrimonial property rights in 1933? Would he get half the company if they married I wonder?

Love the scene where he calls her a superwoman that cracks a whip.
I think we're supposed to root for her to be miserable, considering her earlier behavior in the movie.
Until her great epiphany:
"I can't go on here, this is no place for a woman!"

56:00 the point where the movie sells itself out.
She should go to NY, get the money, come back and, then, see if she wants Brent.
Love that she's taking over the driving from the chauffeur - she's type A, she'll never be happy with Brent.

"I can't go on here, this is no place for a woman!" I like her better as a business leader because she's being true to herself. This simpering woman stuff is a turn off in her.

The story makes no sense to me now.
There should have tickets to Montreal waiting for him.
Wish he had a touch of evil in him for an even match.

It's a shame.

Lulu the pig stole the movie in the last few scenes.
