I don't remember if Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (1973) has made an appearance here.
I bought the Shine On box set in 1992, the year it came out. Found it in excellent condition in a used shop. The set contains eight albums, and when displayed next to each other on the shelf, they display the Dark Side cover art on their spines. One of the albums is missing from my set, but that is why I was able to pick it up for a fraction of a fraction of the new price. Ever the optimist, I am certain that I will find it one day, all alone in a corner, pining for its brethren. And me.

Love Dennis' sweater, NoShear. I'm sure Bunny could tell us exactly how that complicated chevron pattern was achieved. And the same two women seem to be "sharing" the band, so I'm hoping they were models hired for the photo shoot and not something more "unwholesome". "I Get Around" indeed. Just kidding. I love this era when their pop classics just kept coming.

Thank you for the heads up, NoShear. I love the music and style from that era. I would love to spend time on this section of the forum, but I have to limit myself as I need to make a living and live a life off of social media; otherwise, I'd be a regular here.

Sixty years ago on this date, Capitol's quasi soundtrack for "A Hard Day's Night" is said to have been released.

For I Love Melvin and intrepid37: Missing from the above fonts is a 'real' one - the light brown which I prefer: I can only imagine how 1965 record buyers reacted upon first seeing the front cover's distorted imagery yield which seems like nothing that had come before it.

The Rolling Stones (1964)
No identifying names or titles on the Stones' debut album, just the label name. Before this type of starkness was "a thing."
