Thanks for creating a thread.
Glad to see the Republic musical comedy THE FABULOUS SENORITA listed.
I feel as if the westerns should all have been scheduled on one evening.

Nothing against Rita Moreno but she doesn't really have enough films to warrant an entire month. It seems like it would better for a day.

Nothing against Rita's talent, and I do like her performances (more so on television than film)...but I think she's been chosen like Dorothy Dandridge was chosen, to give some attention to minority performers that were able to make a name for themselves during the studio era without the benefit of woke culture.

Rita Moreno has a new film opening in two weeks. It is a sports comedy called 80 FOR BRADY from Paramount pictures. She costars with Sally Field, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.
Dolly Parton appears in the music video for the soundtrack's first single. She is joined by Belinda Carlisle, Cyndi Lauper and Gloria Estefan. All the ladies are glammed up. And there are clips from the film, some featuring Rita Moreno:

Oh yes, I've seen the commercials for this. Jane Fonda is unrecognizable she's had so much work done on her face. Sally Field, the youngster of the group, looks lovely and natural.

Oh thanks for that - I didn't know there was a video. Fingers crossed the movie is as funny as it should be/could be considering the comedic talents of the leading ladies. Plus I'm a sucker for a true story. Loosely based on a true story of four widows who used Sunday gatherings -- and shared adoration of Brady -- to maintain a lifelong friendship, the movie is part road-trip comedy, part buddy-drama, part sports-doc.Has anyone seen any clips or interviews with the four widows?

It's nice to see Alan Hale get a birthday tribute (February 10): Escape In The Desert (1945) Virginia City (1940) Union spy (Errol Flynn), Rebel spies (Miriam Hopkins, Randolph Scott) and outlaw vie for gold. Western
Make Your Own Bed (1944) Private eye (Jack Carson) and girlfriend (Jane Wyman) become client's butler and maid. Comedy
Hotel Berlin (1945) A Dachau escapee (Helmut Dantine) and an actress (Andrea King) hide as Nazis lose the war. Drama
Adventures of Don Juan (1948) The Spanish swordsman (Errol Flynn) duels a dictatorial duke (Robert Douglas). Adventure
The Sea Hawk (1940) British privateer (Errol Flynn) raids Spanish ships with queen's (Flora Robson) OK. Adventure
The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) The Sherwood Forest outlaw (Errol Flynn) saves King Richard, Maid Marian (Olivia de Havilland). AdventureAction

⇧ Re the two previous posts.
Sometimes, watching TCM, it seems like Alan Hale is in two out of every three movies.
He has to have a high six-degrees-of-separation number for the classic studio era.
