Director of ‘most controversial film ever’ Ruggero Deodato dead aged 83
An inspiration for filmmakers including Oliver Stone, Eli Roth and Quentin Tarantino, his most infamous release was the 1980 horror ‘Cannibal Holocaust’.
RIP Mr. Deodato. I'll never forget going to see Cannibal Holocaust at the Embassy Theatre on Broadway. Whilst waiting to go in, I could hear the cries of the previous audience watching the movie. I don't think I've ever shrieked so loud myself at a movie, as I did during the turtle sequence.

Eight Is Enough child star Adam Rich dies aged 54
A course of death has not been revealed, but a relative told TMZ that the Brooklyn-born star died on Saturday (January 7) at his home in LA.
Law enforcement sources also told the publication that he was found when someone came to his house, but foul play is not suspected.
