Friendship, friendship, just the perfect blendship.
I had no idea these guys were buddies! Such fun pictures.
It reminds me of another celebrity friendship -- Carol Burnett and Julie Andrews:

If you didn't know it already, Dean Martin had many Hollywood friendships that lasted most of his life. Even though he was somewhat of a private person, people who came across his path became friends with him because of his warm and gentle manner. Everyone from Montgomery Clift, John Wayne, Ursula Andress, Jimmy Stewart, Lucille Ball, Shirley MacLaine, Bing Crosby and Audrey Hepburn (the list goes on). Probably the most meaningful and important relationships for Dean were his friendships with Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra. These friendships lasted until they died - Sammy in 1990, Dean in 1995 and Frank in 1998. Frank had rings made for himself and Dean that contained an emerald cut diamond that they both wore on their pinkie fingers - Dean never took his off.

The story goes that Frank refused to sing in a certain casino unless they let Sammy through the front door.

I adore the films that Taylor and Clift made together - A PLACE IN THE SUN 1951, RAINTREE COUNTY 1957 and SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER 1959.

From college roommates to lifelong best friends — Christopher Reeve and Robin Williams. An unlikely duo, Robin’s family said that Chris was his rock, whose early death devastated Robin.

Between 1939 and 1954, Spring Byington & Charles Coburn made six films together. And in 1955, he was a special guest star on an episode of December Bride. It's obvious how much fun they had.
