Give me those keys.
I will not.
Oh Claude, my poor mother's boy.

The scene where Alicia hears Alex and his mother arguing about the keys, behind a closed door, is similar to Norman Bates arguing with his mother (himself) behind a closed door.

Inappropriately I am sure. Hard to believe Leopoldine Konstantin was the Mary Pickford of her day - yikes. Hope I can sleep tonight.

Nice game of hide the key played by Bergman. All magic is the art of distraction.

Even in flats you can see that Ingrid is quite a bit bigger than Claude Rains. I always notice that when she's opposite Bogart In "Casablanca." It never seems to have kept her from any parts, and of course she looks perfect next to Cary. I may be the only person who sees it. Maybe BunnyWhit's brother and I should talk.

That dress is stunning even though I believe Edith was told to not have the clothes as a distraction.

This shot right after Hitchcock's obligatory cameo.

It's also quite the intricate hairdo she's sporting at the big shindig. I'm guessing a full can of hairspray (at least).

I don't think we are meant to see that she's wearing flats in that scene in the bedroom just before Rains crosses the room to meet her. When we see the "kick the key" shot, she has on a different open-toed shoe. Then we see her flats with the dress again at the party. Did I see all that right?

And the giant hard clump in back attached with a barrette. Marvels of physics and gravity.
