Love the post! SOMETHING'S GOT TO GIVE 1962 was Marilyn's final movie. She died two weeks before finishing. The studio wanted to get Lee Remick to take Marilyn's place and re shoot the film but Dean said that his contract said Marilyn and so the film was never completed.
Dean and Marilyn had been friends for many years - since his days with Jerry.
On my 'Dean Martin' thread I have much more information about this. It was a very pretty outfit that Marilyn wore. As a matter of fact, there's another dress with flowers on it in that film that's great too.
