They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969)
True story: I worked at a movie theater when this movie came out and one of my jobs was to set up the marquee every time a movie changed. I just couldn't resist, so I left the terminal S off of "horses."
I did receive a call from the manager in the morning informing me of the mistake, which wasn't a mistake. Well, I did make a mistake, by explaining the joke to the manager.
I was fired.
